Walden Security is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Administrator to work in the Federal Services Division at our corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, TN.


  • Responsible for maintaining employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses;
  • Lead administrator for pre and post-employment documentation, testing, training assignments;
  • Be familiar with Walden Security branding requirements and photo guidelines, become familiar with software and printer in order to create ID badges and nameplates;
  • Primary interface with third party provider of Background investigations for assigned contracts.
  • Assist with recordkeeping related to employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason;
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons;
  • Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports;
  • Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of all Administrative Compliance documents necessary for required reporting (AAP, EEO, etc.)
  • Responsible for assisting in maintaining the Valiant/Vision database as it pertains to HR input for assigned contracts.
  • Be professional at all times and be able to effectively communicate with assigned contract location(s)


Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;

Must have at least 1-2 years strong administrative background with prior human resources training and/or experience preferred;

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills;

Experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook);

Professional appearance and customer-service focus.
